The cooking school is about an hour by train or by car from Palermo. It can also be reached by car from Catania. We can provide a car and driver on request. There are two routes from Palermo:
Route A
From Palermo take Autostrada A 19 in the direction of Catania. Exit on route s.s.121 in the direction of Agrigento. Follow s.s.121 for about 70 km, exiting at BivioManganaro in the direction of Vallelunga. Continue for about 30 km toward Vallelunga. Take the turn at Vallelunga for Stazione di Vallelunga and continue for 4-5 km in the direction of Regaleali. Follow signs for Case Vecchie.
Route B
From Palermo take the Autostrada A 19 in the direction of Catania. Exit at TreMonzelli and follow signs for Valledolmo (about 15 km), then follow signs for Regaleali (about 7 km).Where the road divides between Regaleali and Case Vecchie, follow sign for Case Vecchie. At about 1 km, first asphalt, then a dirt road, you will find Case Vecchie. From Catania, take the Autostrada A 19 in the direction of Palermo. Exit as above and follow the directions above.
If you prefer the train, from Palermo is a delightful little train that takes one hour and 20 to go to Case Vecchie.
