Please know that Case Vecchie is in rural Sicily.
The roads can be difficult to navigate. Please use GPS coordinates (37.705507 13.850678) for the best routes with Google.


We can provide a car and driver service upon request.

Please be advised that check-in is from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
For Lunch Lessons, plan to arrive between 10:00 and 10:30 am.


Minimum travel times in car indicated below (buses and vans may take longer):
Palermo – 2 hours
Catania – 2 hours
Taormina – 2.5 hours
Agrigento – 1.5 hours
Modica – 3 hours
Cefalu – 2 hours



Catania to Case Vecchie:
From Catania, take the Autostrada A19 in the direction of Palermo. Exit at Resuttano, follow signs for Vallelunga. Once in Vallelunga follow signs for Stazione di Vallelunga and continue for 4 to 5 km in the direction of Regaleali. Follow signs for Case Vecchie/Punto Vendita. Pass the first gate that indicates Regaleali and continue. Case Vecchie will be on your left after about 2 km.



Palermo to Case Vecchie:
From Palermo take the Autostrada A19 in the direction of Catania. After about 70 km take the exit at Tremonzelli. Follow directions to Caltavuturo and Valledolmo. Follow the main road until you turn left, following signs for Tenuta Regaleali. Follow the road for about 20 km you will see Valledolmo on your right and still follow signs to Tenuta Regaleali. You will continue for 2 km then follow signs for Case Vecchie/ Punto Vendita.



By Train
If you prefer, from Palermo there is a delightful little train that takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to go to Case Vecchie. Palermo Centrale stazione is located at the intersection of Via Roma and Via Abramo Lincoln. A ticket from Palermo to Vallelunga will cost approximately €7. Purchase a ticket inside the station and make sure to validate it at the small green machine before boarding your train. You will need to transfer at the station Roccapalumba and board the next train for Vallelunga. You will need to transfer at the station Roccapalumba-Alia and board the next train for Vallelunga. We can arrange for transportation to and from either the Vallelunga and Roccapalumba-Alia station.
